JAZZ
INTERNATIONAL – NEWEST PROMOTER IN SCOTLAND
Jazz International is Scotland's newest
promoter, set up by singer Todd Gordon
(former student of FDVJW), presenting top
quality jazz in concert hall settings. The
first concerts in this series of duo
performances featured pianists John Taylor and
Gwilym Simcock, followed by ECM trumpeter,
Enrico Rava and pianist Stefano Bollani. These
concerts garnered an amazing four 5-star reviews
in The Scotsman and The Herald, and the dual
piano concert was broadcast by BBC Radio 3 Jazz
Line-Up.
Jazz International
is proud to present one of the world's greatest
guitarists, Martin Taylor, and the UK's
fastest-rising new vocalist, Alison Burns.
Together they will perform songs from their new
album, 1:am - inspired by the
series of Grammy Award-winning albums by Ella
Fitzgerald and Joe Pass. Get set for a stunning
collection of songs, impeccably performed.
